Remet: Raises the Bar – Again!

Remet are pleased to announce that we have further raised the standard for Precision Investment Casting Suppliers, after receiving accreditation to BS EN ISO 18001: the international standard that accredits the management of Health and Safety systems.

Further demonstrating our unrelenting commitment to continual improvement, this accreditation will complement our already obtained BS EN ISO 9001 and BS EN ISO 14001, which relate to our Quality and Environmental Management Systems respectively.

All of us at Remet would like to congratulate Alice Hudson, Senior Quality Controller, for her hard work in installing the system. This achievement builds on Alice’s previous NEBOSH qualifications, and marks her first departure into systems management from her laboratory based role, which has been guided by Mike Harrison of MJH Associates.

From the establishment of robust emergency procedures to the identification of hazards, Remet’s stewardship of Health and Safety in the work place is there to assure our personnel, clients and stakeholders of stability, through the reduction of risk exposure in their supply chains.

Remet are proud to be the first and only consumables supplier to the investment casting industry with ISO accreditation for Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety Management systems.
