Welcome to our technical update, here we will keep you up to date with the latest technical information from Remet, including case studies, technical insights and technical papers.

In this initial update we will be focusing on binders, in the future issued we will cover all aspects of investment casting.

Innovations in Binder Technology

As you maybe aware we recently launched two new binder products:

Remasol® QuikBuild™

An innovative binder for rapid shell construction, allowing you to reduce your number of coats by up to 1/3. Click here for more information.

Remasol® Jus-Dip™

A ready-made slurry, that can be used direct from the drum, JUSt open the drum and DIP. Click here for more information.

While these products extend our range of slurry solutions, we have a wide range of other innovative products that may be ideally suited to your production. One such product is QuikSet.

Adbond® QuickSet™ – A Technical Comment

QuikSet binder is specially formulated to create a slurry that promotes rapid drying of shells during construction. Using QuikSet a foundry can reduce the dry time of each layer of the shell to 1 hour, see our case study to show how we got from wax to metal in one day.
