REMET Introduces New & Improved Pattern Wash Product Line

REMET is pleased to announce a new and improved line of Pattern Washes.  An integral part of the pre-ceramic shell process, REMET’s pattern washes will evenly etch wax surfaces – promoting excellent primary slurry adhesion. Our formulations provide superior cleanability of any residual release agents, quickly drain off and will leave less streaking and spotting.

In addition, REMET has developed protocols for performance testing of Pattern Washes. These testing capabilities include:

  • Surface profile measurement for etching & surface finish
  • Overall surface quality and tackiness
  • Rinsability, amount of streaking & spotting
  • Prime coat dip test for adhesion consistency & quality
  • Peel test to determine prime coat adherence to wax surface
